The Fukunaga’s recently purchased a 2-bedroom townhouse with their two children. They wanted to give both kids a room each but had the dilemma of needing another room for themselves. Romeo came in with their architect and engineer to assess their options.
The Home Owners Association approved the plans and got them started to create a loft in the 2-bedroom unit. This allowed the Fukunaga’s to have their master bedroom upstairs with duo-walk-in closets and 2 skylights/windows for cooling and natural lighting.
The result is a very usable and affordable living space above the kitchen and bathroom which has now increased the value of the property by about $50,000.
